School embarked on its journey on April 5, 2010 with strength of 750 students. The success story of the school in such a short span of time is a testimony to the hard work of the principal, staff, parents and the students.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pratap Nagar, has always aimed to make itself, a centre of excellence where a stress free and caring environment is provided for nurturing the young minds. School has always focused on the all-round development of children by instilling in them the power of thinking.
In last 14 years of its journey the school has been successfully able to keep abreast with the emerging trends and challenges. It has shown noteworthy progress which is quite evident from the well developed and awe inspiring infrastructure comprising of well ventilated classrooms, Science, Geography and Language labs, Audio-Visual and Activity Rooms, Heritage corridor to showcase the creative flair of the students. The school also provides great sporting facilities and has cricket pitch, basketball and football grounds and indoor sports arena. It also has an outdoor stage for curricular activities and a sprawling lush green ground for outdoor activities.






Counselling cell comprising of school counsellor and special educator organize various activities catering to the needs of the students like Aptitude Test, Career Counselling, Orientation sessions etc. The school is making every effort to become on “Inclusive School” in letter and spirit. We are passionately pursuing cases that fall under the category of Inclusive Education, including the challenged or the specially abled ones.
The school has made earnest effort to evaluate the Child\’s Scholastic and Co-Scholastic domains through assessments at regular intervals. French, German and Sanskrit are taught as II Language subjects in the middle classes. Apart from Scout and Guides, NCC has also been lately added as a part of School Curriculum.
The school is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi as co-educational senior secondary school. First batch of class XII passed out in 2016. The school offers all three streams of study Science, Commerce and Humanities.
